Pack status misleading

Dear All

We have scenario of Pick, Pack Stage and Load where in loose items are picked to  temporary reusable pick HU (Totes) and brought to Pack work center.

 

In the Packing station they are packed  as per customer specific packaging , Finally staged and Loaded.

Issue is  delivery gets the pack status "completed"immediately after the pick confirmation to Pick HU and not based on actual pack completion.

Is there any way to reflect the packing status after completion of packing in the work center.

I could have activated the flag " Do not put away HUs" in the Pack  center  storage type but we want to track the pick HU's adn the contents at the pack stations until they are transferred to packing cartons.

 

 

An extension to above question>>

Unlike the above scenario where the loose items are picked into the pick HU the scenario here is Picking of cartons to pick HU..

How to handle the requirement of  Pick HU being with the  resource after pick confirmation and the requirement is to just drop the picked cartons at the pack work center.

Yard Management Issue

Hi All,

 

Please help  me to Resolve the  following issue.

I have  completed  Arrival at checkpoint,Move the TU  to parking lot,Move the TU to Door.

When  i   try to unload  TU  system throws an  error "Simple unloading is not possible".

 

Message no. /SCWM/SHP_RCV400 .

Business Partner for Customer(own plant) created as a person

Hi

 

I have created a customer master that is representing my own plant. Shipping data for plant is maintained under STO customizing.

I have CIFed the customer master, but it has got created as a PERSON  and not the organization.

 

I have also CIFed the vendor master(representing the same plant), it has got created correctly as Orgnization.

 

Can anyboy explain me what happened wrong with my customer master.

Reg: Transfer order printout in two different printers

Hello

 

I have a specific requirement

 

My client is asking for print out for pick list transfer orders in two different printers based on the storage type. I have configured the set up in OMLV . Sorting ,profiles etc etc but it deosn't work.

 

lets say for ex in pick list there are around 8 different storage types in which for only one storage type it should print in a different printer.rest all 7 storage type should print in one printer.

Unable to receive serial number with status AVLB EDEL on returns

Hello,

 

This scenario is for EWM but I assume would be the same in ECC.Either way I am looking for a reason why the serial number status has not changed.

 

Please let me know if there are any OSS notes related to this.

 

We are having an issue while receiving serial numbers on a
return delivery.

 

The scenario is that we have created an outbound sales order
(type ZEQ) and corresponding delivery to EWM.

 

During picking we have manually assigned a serial number in
EWM.For example if there were 1 through 5 serial numbers for material X we
entered 6 in EWM and performed PGI.The PGI went through successfully.

 

The status of the serial number is currently AVLB EDEL.

 

A return sales order of type ZREQ and corresponding outbound
delivery are created.During goods receipt the same serial number 6 for material
X is entered and PGR is performed.

 

The PGR is not being transferred to ECC as the error message
says "System status EDEL is active"

 

The question is why did the serial number status not change
to "ECUS" after PGI.

 

Also would it be an issue of manually entering a serial
number in EWM with status "AVLB" instead of entering a serial number
created from GR of a purchase order or production whose status then would have
been "ESTO"

Posting changes from EWM to ECC

Hello dear experts

 

When I create a posting change in EWM, for example to change stock type from F1 to F2, a message is sent to ERP using goods movement interface. Usually in ERP a 311 movement is created to move the stock from one storage location to another.

Anyway, the HU data in ERP does not get updated. In HUMO you still see it in old storage location.

 

Is it possible to generate a delivery in ECC from EWM posting change?

 

I would like not to go through direct deliveries as they are creating STO in ERP and require a unique customer for each storage location, which is difficult because it would require changes to intecompany model .

 

Does anyone have a solution?

Approach to extend Products from SCM APO to SCM EWM

Hi All

 

In general we follow below steps to get product master data from ERP to EWM.

- CIF material master from ERP to EWM (CFM1/CFM2 in ERP)

- In EWM system, extend material to warehouse (/SCWM/MAT1 in EWM)

 

If I have thousands of materials in warehouse, how to automate this complete process. Please suggest if there is any standard SAP approach. I have heard that customizing BAPI or LSMW, but would like to know SAP suggested standard approach.

 

However, CIFing can be automated using batch jobs. Need clear guidance on extending products to EWM warehouse. Please help.

SAP Hana with EWM 9.1

Hi EWM followers,

 

I am opening this discussion to try to understand what is really available on SAP EWM with SAP Hana (except the labor demand part which is more clear).

Yes there's some documentation available but at the end I didn't really succeed to make my mind on that.

 

- Can EWM run entirely on SAP HANA (meaning document creation, modification,.. are only stored and commit within an hana DB) or HANA is just available with the "side by side" approach involving SLT tool, etc...?

 

- If HANA is activated only with the "side by side" approach. How EWM knows where to query information (classic SQL DB or Hana)? Does the code needs to be changed (either standard or Z) or it queries database in hana by itself when they are replicated to hana?

PO against Internal Order

Dear Sir

 

 

  • We have using SAP since 2012 and we got problem this is first time
  • Acutely in few week later have planned major plant stoppage work, and over user are creating Pr against internal order, same Po has generated
  • And also GRN also generated after GRN I have check my book stock it showing my book stock is zero and I am having physical stock
  • I observed that it has be directly  book against Order, its seem that end user already drawn material with any issue voucher
  • Know I want to show book stock without value change what t-code I have to used, at the same time internal order value have to zero

Issue while posting physical inventory document

Hi Team,

 

While posting a physical inventory document system is giving error message saying that

HU exists at another point in the warehouse. Clear the HU first

Message no. /SCWM/GM751

 

here is my scenario: As per the system bin is empty, while doing physical inventory we found and counted one HU in the same bin. while posting the same physical inventory document we are getting the above error message. as per the system this HU available in some other bin.

 

could you please let us know is there any process which i am missing before posting the PI document.

 

while posting the PI document is it not possible automatically HU get move from one bin to other bin?

VAS in GR with storage process control not creating WT for some steps

Dear Experts

 

I am configuring VAS in GR with SPOC. Process has 1) Unloading 2) VAS at WC VR01 3) VAS at WC VR02 4) Putaway. System creates WT automatically for 2nd step. Completed VAS activity in VR01. But it does not create WT for further move to VR02. Need your hlep. Thank you.

 

Here is process:-

1) ID created in ECC for 10EA. Stock packed onto one pallet.

2) ID created successfully in EWM. VAS order auto generated. Packing spec, Work center for each level determined.

3) Unloading WT created for HU of ID. Upon confirmation, HU WT for moving pallet to VR01 is created automatically from SPOC. WT confirmed.

4) Performed VAS activity at VR01 WC. VAS activity completed. This level has only Aux. Pack material. Not rel for HU creation.

    Expected Auto WT for VR01 to VR02 move. This is not created.

HU as a destination in WT - scenario for consolidation HU into HU

Hello experts,

 

I am try to make following scenario: there is process oriented storage control with 4 steps OB01 - pick, OB02 - pack, OB03 - stage, OB04 - load. When i am pick HU from high rack storage the destination location in WT should be HU located on packing work center. In other words i need consolidation scenario for HU into high level HU whithout drag & drop into work center transaction. (According to SAP support RF terminal transaction does not support pick-HU for HUs)

 

Is it possible? I will highly appreciate for your practical expirience examples and advises.

Transfer Order completed but still stock showing in minus

Dear All,

 

I have checked the status of wm stock in lx02 qty showing -20.

Currently system showing as BIN-4000024  with -20 qty, while posting source and target storage bin as shown in fig.

Please help me to remove out wm stock.
