I am facing a different type of issue.
I want to cancel a putaway task. But when i do cancel process /N/SCWM/MON--> INBOUND-->INBOUND DELIVERY-->WAREHOUSE TASK--> CANCEL WT
it gives me error "enter processor in warehouse order. But when i try to find out warehouse order against my putaway warehouse task, so i am not able to find my warehouse task. It shows error as "warehouse order does not exist".
This task was assigned earlier with warehouse order 18749547, But now it is not attached with same order number. there is not any warehouse order assigned with this warehouse task.
Without warehouse order i am not able to cancel warehouse task even i am not able to confirm WT.
Please let me know how can i cancel this warehouse task.

I have a question regarding returns processing, and especially about the follow-up action on ERP side.
My scenario: I create a returns order (VA01) and Outbound Delivery (VL01N) in ERP. In EWM, an Inbound Delivery Notification and Inbound Delivery are created. When I process the Inbound Delivery, I can enter an Inspection Result and follow-up action during the QIS-step. For example, if the goods are OK, the follow-up action is Putaway.
In EWM this works fine, the goods are sent to a putaway location with the correct status. However, when I check my qRFC monitor, I can see that a message for this delivery is stuck in the Inbound queue of my ERP-system. The following error message is displayed:
Default follow-up activity for returns delivery xxxx must not be initial. Cannot create inspection outcomes for RMA and delivery xxxx
It looks like I need to customize some follow-up action on ERP side, but I'm not sure how. Any ideas?

Hi Experts,
we are looking for performance metrics for SAP EWM. Can we use the Dialog Response time like in ERP systems?
If not are there any other Performance indicators to use? Maybe the ICM HTTP Response time, because our customer works with scanníng devices in the warehouse which communicate with ITS mobile.

How to set one WH manual WT and one WH auto for Inbound WT.

Our client works only with EWM system and the orders flow from NON - SAP system. (No SAP ECC involved). So we have few constraints. One such is, receiving two goods issue document for a single sale order.
Example:
ODO contains 5 line items and 3 of them are picked. User creates an Outbound delivery for the three items and as a result goods issue is done.
For the remaining two line items, if we create a separate OD then it is failing at the NON-SAP end. As they can receive GI only once for a sale order.
Enhancing at the NON - SAP side, results in lot of man hours.
So we wanted to achieve the below in EWM end.
Partial goods issue should not be allowed or two OD documents should not be created for a single sale order.
Could you please help us in achieving the same. Kindly let me know in case if more information is required.

Hello all,
We have a new EWM warehouse which has no stock.
All bins are empty.
I am trying to create some stock using physical inventory adjustment.
Product master has indicator for cycle counting.
While trying to create physical inventory document (cycle counting), system gives message - Selection produced no results.
Basically no bins are showing up for which physical inventory document can be created.
Can you advice why no document is created?
Do I need to have some stock in the bin before I can create cycle counting physical inventory document?

Dear all,
Material master in ECC when transported to EWM, product master created adds @EWM to the material master.
Example - Material master 1234 in ECC becomes 1234@EWM100.
Do you know why? How to get rid of it so that material master in ECC and product master in EWM is exactly same.

I am planning to give SAP EWM/DWM certifications exams. I have learned SAP WM/MM/PP through SAP books from SAP AMERICA, likewise, do we have any standard SAP EWM/DWM books, which explains the business process completely and shows the configure details as well.
I have extensively googled but I didn't any standard SAP EWM/DWM books like SAP WM/MM/PP etc.

I have a query regarding goods receipt in SAP EWM. As per my understanding to do any kind of goods receipt in EWM, we need a corresponding inbound delivery replicated from ECC -> EWM. Is there any way to post Goods Receipt in SAP EWM directly without corresponding inbound delivery origination from ECC system. Physical Inventory is one option but involves too many steps and I am looking for some simpler options which can be automated in background.
My business requirement is assets are scanned via RF in EWM system. In current process if any asset fails(due to absence of corresponding inbound delivery) then one custom program is run in ECC system to create inbound delivery -> replication to EWM -> final putaway. What I want to know is - is there any way to post goods receipt directly in EWM and then transfer to ECC to create transfer posting in ERP system.

Hello All,
we have a requirement that our warehouse should handle with product which has different temperature storage conditions.
In master data /SCWM/MAT1 I can't find any field which is related to temperature. But in ERP the storage view in MM03 a field names MARA-TEMPB is available.
Why is this field not CIFed to eWM?
Do you have any experiences in this area?

Can some one please explain why the default staging area group and Staging area is maintained for the Warehouse Door in IMG. Since the staging area and door is determined via the SCWM/STADET_IN. I tried to leave the staging area group and staging area blank in SCWM/STADET_IN and only maintained the Door.
I expected the staging area group and staging area to be determined via the default assigned to the door in IMG however that is not happening.

What is batch levels at which batch can be set in EWM?
In IMG (see path below), I could find number range only at one level.
I assume it is at client level as there no indication showing at which level number range is available.
IMG - Extended warehouse management - Cross process settings - Batch management - Define number range for batch

my scenario:
1. Worker enter Exception Code;
2. WF start and create PI document for the product in bin;
3. EWM offer next bin with same product;
4. If next bin not found;
5. Adjust outbound delivery with Difference Quantity.
Everything works fine, exept step 5: Delivery adjust, if i customize for exeption code, delivery adjust with code O001, EWM does not offer alternative bin for the product and immediately adjust delivery qty, and close WT.
Any solution, logic, customazing missing?

In Kitting, Whenever any user change any data in released Production order for example Date etc, system create another Outbound delivery to pick and stage material.
So for a one Kitting Production order, we have many outbound delivery which leads to over picking for Staging.
