SAP EWM follow-up activity for returns delivery

Hi guys,

 

I have a question regarding returns processing, and especially about the follow-up action on ERP side.

 

My scenario: I create a returns order (VA01) and Outbound Delivery (VL01N) in ERP. In EWM, an Inbound Delivery Notification and Inbound Delivery are created. When I process the Inbound Delivery, I can enter an Inspection Result and follow-up action during the QIS-step. For example, if the goods are OK, the follow-up action is Putaway.

 

In EWM this works fine, the goods are sent to a putaway location with the correct status. However, when I check my qRFC monitor, I can see that a message for this delivery is stuck in the Inbound queue of my ERP-system. The following error message is displayed:

 

Default follow-up activity for returns delivery xxxx must not be initial. Cannot create inspection outcomes for RMA  and delivery xxxx

 

It looks like I need to customize some follow-up action on ERP side, but I'm not sure how. Any ideas?

Is there any function module or method able to cancel picking? same function with /SCWM/CANCPICK

Hi,

 

I'm developing a program which including many steps ,and one of them is to cancel picking for the relevant delivery(/SCWM/CANCPICK).

I'm looking for a function module or class-method which could implement the same function as tcode /SCWM/CANCPICK.

 

Does anyone has idea about this ? Thank you very much.

Inspection rule of IOT4 (Q-inspection Inbound delivery) does not have field "inspection process" in properties area

Hello all,

 

I am created Inspection Rule for Inspection object type 4 (IOT4).

 

In Tcode: /N/SCWM/QRSETUP, there is no field "inspection process" in Properties area.

 

I want select inspection process 0 (Inspection after Goods receipt).

But since there is no filed for inspection process, I can not select value 0 for it.

 

Can you advice?

Hi Team,

 

I would like to update the Event in VL31N for Vendor document date and stamping date. The Event is not display at VL31N >>> GoTo >>>Header>> dates. I have configured the additional deadline for event group and also assign POD relevance and event group to delivery type. Is there any function module need to be activate ?

UOM mismatch in ECC and EWM

Hi,

 

I have an issue which goes like this:

 

Step1: Product A created in ECC with Based UOM EA and Alt. UOM as FT where 1FT = 1EA. Maintained the conversion in Additional Data in Mat. Master.

 

Step2: Product A is CIF'ed to EWM and now it is present in EWM system as well with Base UOM as EA.

 

Step3: Now, one of the person changed Base UOM from EA to FT in ECC and created a Purchase Order, Inbound Delivery.

FYI: Unfortunately, changes to Base UOM from EA to FT didn't get updated in EWM Product Master.

 

Step4: Inbound delivery created in Step3 was distributed to EWM and Putaway and GR was done in EWM system and stock updated in Warehouse Monitor with UOM of EA.

 

Step5: We see that Inbound queue carrying GR data from EWM to ECC was stuck in ECC with error:

 

"Specifications for units and quantities contain errors ITEM_DATA_SPL-BASE_UOM EA LIPS-MEINS FT"

 

Step6: The reason for the error being UOM in ECC is FT where as it is EA in EWM.

 

May I know how do we resolve this error and have GR posted in ECC PO?

 

These are the steps I tried to resolve the issue but nothing worked out.

 

1) Tried changing Base UOM from EA to FT in EWM Product Master, but system didn't allow it since there was stock available for the Product.

2) Scrapped the stock in EWM system by /SCWM/ADGI and later tried to change the Base UOM. But system didn't allow doing it, telling the open stock exists. In reality, there was no stock shown in Monitor.

3) Created similar Material in ECC with correct Base UOM. I cannot do Mat - Mat transfer in ECC as there is no stock, since GR was not posted from EWM to ECC. I tried doing Mat - Mat transfer in EWM, but I wasn't able to find a way to do it. Tried in /SCWM/ADPROD or /SCWM/POST, but in both these t.codes are not for Mat - Mat. transfer.

 

 

Please check and advise ways to resolve this error.

Unable to putaway stock in stock type Q4 (Error - No bin search possible)

Hello all,

 

I have created a PO and inbound delivery for a material which has IOT4 (Q-inspection for inbound delivery) in EWM system.

 

Goods receipt is done in EWM.

 

I am trying to create warehouse task so that stock can be put away (stock type Q4 - Stock in QI in warehouse)

Currently, stock type is Q3 (Stock in QI in put away).

 

Attached is screenshot.

 

While creating warehouse task, system gives following error as shown in screen shot.

 

Further, if storage type, storage section and bin is keyed in in default values tab, system gives different error as shown in screenshot indicating - Final put away is possible only after quality inspection.

 

My understanding is that system should allow to put-away the material with stock type Q4 (Stock in QI in warehouse).

 

Can you please advice what settings are missing?

Regarding Exception Codes

Hi

 

I have few queries related to exception codes and need help :

1. Unloading - How can we handle shortage, excess, and damage of HU at the time of unloading, SAP has provided standard exception codes HUAD (HU Additional), HUMI (HU Missing), and HUDA (HU Defective) .

When i am using HUMI then system is canceling HU warehouse task at the time of unloading, is it right behavior of HU but system is not reducing delivery quantity.

HUAD and HUDA is not working, please suggest how can i use these.

 

2. Putaway : which exception code i can use for unable to reach bin & Different Part in Bin (Requirement of business mentioned below)

Unable to Reach Bin - if binner is unable to reach bin then he will enter exception code, system has to block that bin for investigation and syste has to suggest next empty bin close to initial bin)

Different Part in Bin : Binner wants to put part X in bin A01 but finds different part say Y, in the bin, binner will enter exception code in task, System suggests new bin for part X. This will be based on the next empty bin which is close to the initially proposed bin.System creates a PID for wrong part in bin A01 for investigation.

Single storage bin and multiple HUs

Hello Friends,

Please help me in solving one of the query:

 

I have a WO of a batch with a material present in different HUs .Then how should i create a WTs ?

For ex: material x in batch y needs 200 ea for the WO to confirm.

While in monitor the material is present in such a way:

storage bin    batch   HU1     50 ea

storage bin    batch   HU2     50 ea

storage bin    batch   HU3     50 ea

storage bin    batch   HU4     50 ea

Please suggest.

What steps to be taken care during upgrade of 9.1 to 9.2

We have a plan of upgrading from 9.1 to 9.2. Warehouse is available at production with lot of customization at config and custom program. I hope during upgrade the customization changes are retained 

 

Kindly guide the steps to be taken care during upgrade of 9.1 to 9.2.

OD and ODO is rejected in EWM

I have one DN which is being cancpick and unloaded hus in ewm and created OD & ODO with o ea qty.But the goods are already shipped through this DN and now user want to make the GI completed in ewm and ecc both.So can u please share your suggestions on this.That will be really highly appreciated.

Hello,

 

When I want to generate a T.O with (lt03) I want in this field with red to appear the Storage Types that I want:  FGS,RMS etc.

 

Do you have any idea or solution for this request?!

List for an input field in Rf framework

Hi,

 

This is my screen  (created using rf framework)

Rsrc group is an input field, clicking on f8 by placing cursor on I/o field,

corresponding list values are displayed,following is the screen

Iam not able to pull the value to  field .

It should happen automatically when we click on on pushbutton 1.manager .

 

Please help me to solve this problem.

POSC + LOSC

Hi

 

I have created a combination of POSC + LOSC as mentioned below :

 

Unload - GR-Zone - Decon - Bin Drop (LOSC - Internal Storage Type) - Final Putaway

 

This combination is working very well from Decon to Bindrop if i am creating Pick HU warehouse task wise, but if i am creating one Pick HU with two warehouse task material then system is not taking from Decon to Bindrop, system is directly going from Decon to Final Put Away.

POSC+LOSC in Putaway

Hi All

 

I need help to configure below scenario in EWM. Warehouse receives the inbound HUs which can contains single material or multiple materials. For the normal HU, putaway should happen after unloading and for mixed HUs, putaway should happen after sorting. For this, I have configured de-consolidation and POSC. But somehow, it is not working. All kinds of HUs are coming to de-consolidation workcenter after unload. This is my issue one.

 

The other challenge here is the mixed HU will be de-consolidated based on material and moved to interim storage area before final putaway. Again here, they re-pack based on capacity of resource and then do putaway. This I have achieved partly by calling LOSC before putaway task in POSC. So, now I will get tasks to move HUs from de-consolidation area to interim storage area and then to final bin. But I am not able to do re-pack at interim storage area.

 

I have tried to put packing task before putaway task in POSC, and configured interim storage area as work center - LOSC is not triggered.

 

Any thoughts to solve these issues?

Is it possible to issue goods in blocked stock for sales order

Hello all,

 

I have a customer's request to ship stock which is on blocked stock.

 

System always selects stock from stock type F2 (unrestricted stock).

 

Is there a way to select stock which is in blocked stock (Stock type B6)?

Can warehouse process type be changed so that it allows blocked stock to be picked up?

 

Can you please advice?

VAS order with multiple items

Hi All,

I have a scenario wherein, I need to create VAS order containing 2 products, I made all required config such pack spec and VAS relevance maintenance but while creating ODO system creates separate VAS order for each item instead of one combine, Can someone please help me to achieve this.
