Cursor position(Enter function) not working in custom screen of LM03/LM05

Hi SAP GURUS,

 

For including Batch verification filed,we have copied 2212 standard screen and created a sub screen with 9212, while copying the screen 2212 we have removed the OK_CODE.

 

we have included logic in user exits (EXIT_SAPLLMOB_170 & EXIT_SAPLLMOB_480,After executing the transaction lm03, in source screen after scanning source bin, the cursor is not moving to next field.

 

please help me what is the logic i need to include in the user exits, to move the cursor automatically from one filed to another while scanning.

Setup of new Storage Location in ECC, not sending deliveries to EWM

Hi all,

 

I've just created a new storage location for an existing warehouse.  This existing warehouse is working perfect, however the new storage locations which I have created is not passing inbound/outbound deliveries to EWM. 

 

- I have assigned the Plant/SLoc to the WH in ECC.

- Mapped storage locations from ERP to EWM

- No "delivery notification" has been created in either status.

- No Queue create in SMQ1/SMQ2 on either side.

- No log for the inbound/outbound delivery in SLG1

 

The deliveries are distributed and locked in ECC.  The one thing that raises a red flag in my opinion is that fact that there are no logs in SLG1 on the ECC for these inbound/outbound deliveries.  This makes me believe that the message to pass from ECC to EWM has not even been triggered.  Is there some kind of BAPI/FM/CID Mod variant that needs to be maintained in ECC to include this new storage location?

Failed WO creation - Tasks not assigned to a warehouse order

Hi All,

 

We have a strange phenomenon in our EWM system.

 

Recently (or it may be that as users are becoming more competent on the system,  we are now being notified), we have had numerous examples of picking warehouse tasks being created without a warehouse order.

 

Every warehouse task should be assigned to a WO - even if it is WOCR DEF.

 

I've been assured that the users are not un-assigning the tasks from the WO.

 

Reading through the log on the WO that the task SHOULD have been assigned to, I can see that the task has been correctly evaluated, and has passed all the filters.  The log even ends with a message that eg WO ******* has been created with 25 tasks.  But the WO doesn't have this number of tasks in it.

 

I've checked SAP notes etc......there is plenty about WOs that have no tasks......but not tasks without WOs!!!!

 

 

Appreciate any hints or tips on this.

Picking of HU from the Bin..

Hello All,

                I have a scenario where we have pick qty of 10 EA.for an outbound Delivery,here the requirement is system should able to pick the 10EA qty HU which is the bin instead of picking the 10 EA qty which are not in the HU.

 

Here the intenstion is we want to first Pick the Whole HU which has the Qty-10EA instead of picking and sending 10EA and pack them and then send to customer.

 

Instead of all that we want to just pisck that whole HU and put the labels and sent it cuetomer.

use of Max. stack factor in EWM

Dear Experts,

 

We have these 2 fileds - Max.StackFactor &  Rem.Vol after Nesting under units of measurement tab in EWM product master.

can you please give some hint on what is the purpose of these 2 fields?

We have arequirement restrict stacking of HUs based on maximum height (i.e stacking of multiple HUs on a TU shouldnot exceed 2 Meter).

Is it possible to acheive this in EWM usning above 2 fields?

Appreciate any suggestions.

EWM Organisational Structure

Hello Experts,

 

We intend to introduce SAP EWM für depicting the central warehouse of our company. Currently, we have 4 plants which manufacturing lines should be supplied by the central warehouse.

 

I know that it is possible to assign storage locations of different plants to one warehouse number in SAP EWM. But I have some doubts if this is an adequate design. Would it be more adequate to create a separate plant for depicting the central warehouse?

 

Structure:

 

Plant 5 (Warehouse)

                |

                |

SL01 (Storage location)

                |

                |

W01 (Warehouse number)

 

According to that idea I'm facing the question of how requirements planing of the 4 production plants can work accordingly if the stock is managed by Plant 5 (Warehouse).

 

I would appreciate any input on that thoughts.

/scwm/erp_stockcheck best practices

Hi there folks.

 

I am a relative newbie in the SCM / EWM space but have been asked an interesting question by my customer and thought I'd ask here for some feedback.  The WH Operations team currently runs the EWM to ERP stockcheck function on a weekly basis and it is executed manually and in the foreground. We have a large operation but they mostly run for high moving / high demand parts unless an issue arises for another class of materials or a specific material.  

 

They wanted to know...

1)  Could / should the process be automated to run + correct?

2)  If so, how often to run?

 

I know you can set it to run in the background to produce the report and create a daily / weekly / monthly schedule, but wanted to know if any of you out there had tried an actual automation with correction and if so, how it worked for you?   

 

They have quiet time on the weekends (late Saturday & late Sunday) that skirt the std. operation and planned downtime issues, but not sure if anyone else out there has tried this successfully.

 

To me it seems like a risky venture given queue failures, timing, etc. but wanted to get some feedback before starting down the path with them.

Questions on Kit to Stock set up

Hello Experts,

 

I have setup the Kit to stock process to trigger from EWM without BOM. I am able to create the VAS order which has triggered both inbound delivery (IBD)  and outbound delivery (OBD). The deliveries are replicated in ECC with delivery type DIG ( item type DIGN) and DOG (item type DOGN). I have picked the components for the VAS order against the OBD and kit posting completed again IBD.

 

The issue i am facing in in ECC integration. The goods issue step updates the outbound delivery in ECC but without posting material movement.

Inbound delivery is not updated with the material posting for KIT. It is found in SMQ2 with the attached error.

 

Most important is

Both the inbound and outbound deliveries in ECC did not have a reference to movement type. Am  i missing on any config elements over here?

 

I am attaching here the ECC deliveries for inputs

Kit to Stock VAS order creation - error

Hello All,

 

I am testing the Kit to Stock setup in EWM. When creating the VAS order with BOM for a the KIT material I am facing the below error

Bill of material not supported Message no. /SCWM/MD058

I have created production BOM as well as Sales BOM for the KIT material. But system behavior has remained same. Need your input on the missing components here.

Please let me know the correct BOM category for this scenario

Physical Inventory - Exception Code

Hi ,

 

This regards to HU missing and Product Missing at Bin level .

 

I have configured the exception codes for HU missing and Product Missing  ( HUMI and PRIL ) .

 

This exception codes are used when the operator have a situation when HU is reflecting in the system and physically it is not available .

 

During this situation we use HU missing or Product Missing .

 

I have configured both exception in RF but still it is showing an Issue , the exception codes are reflecting in RF but it is not executing .

 

 

I have tried with other exception and all are working for example SKPE : Skip Couting and this is working fine .

 

Need to know it is configurable in RF or there is a different exception code we need to configure .

OutBound Delivery GTS Checks

Hi

 

We have just done an upgrade on the EWM system. Since the upgrade there is a problem where the GTS Check PPF is called more than once. In the Monitor for EWM deliveries, in the item overview section, the tab 'PPF Actions', the following PPF action should only occur once when first processing an outbound delivery.

 

PPF Name          /SCDL/DELIVERY

PPF Action         /SCDL/PRD_OUT

PPF Definition     /SCWM/PRD_OUT_GTS_CHECK

 

Yet the action is being called several times.

 

In addition to this the PPF for assigning a warehouse request to a wave assignment (below following PPF action) is shown with a amber status but not processsed, it should be in a green processed state.

 

PPF Name          /SCDL/DELIVERY

PPF Action         /SCDL/PRD_OUT

PPF Definition     /SCWM/PRD_OUT_WAVE_NEW

 

 

I have checked settings in the PPF framework, the settings are the same as before and after the upgrade. The ABAP code, from what I could find, everthing seems untouched or unchanged by the upgrade as well.

 

This is all SAP standard, no customising done. Any ideas?

Material Master in EWM

Hello EWM Experts,

 

I am in EWM module.I am not clear about how the Material master data is maintained in it.Example in Warehouse Management material master is created once and than it is extended for all the warehouses.

What is the scenario in EWM,do the material is extended to WM Wrehouses or EWM warehouses or both.

Also what are the corresponding tables in EWM in which I can fing material and corresponding warehouse.

Problem with single order staging in EWM 9.2

Dear experts,

 

i did all configurations like it´s said in the documentation advanced production integration (92 pages). But when i activate the business configuration set /SCWM/PMR_SINGLE_ORDER i receive warnings.

 

I followed the guide and now i am trying to create PMRs. I also set the configurations in transaction /SCWM/PSASTAGE, where i choose the single order staging method. Before i choose the single order staging method my PMRs were created without problems, but now the inbound queue of my EWM-System catches the requests...

 

Any ideas what could solve the problem and let me create PMRs with staging method single order staging ?

How to sort the printing in physical inventory documents

Good day experts,

 

When printing inventory documents (created by LX16) I got al list of

 

First empty bins, Then filled bins,

 

I´m looking for control  the way the inventory list is sorted no matter whether is empty or filled.

 

Even better if I can sorted as follows:

 

Bin structure: C0 NN MM

 

Sorted by:

 

first the first group "C0"

Second by the third group  "MM"

Thirth by the second group "NN"

 

Is there a way to do that without implementing exits nor ABAP intervention?

Can I do consumption posting directly in EWM for 201 mvt of ERP?

Hi All

 

Can I do consumption posting in EWM system such that I will trigger consumption posting in ERP for a cost center with 201 movement type?

I have checked the transaction '/SCWM/ADGI' but, it does not have any such option in the drop down for 'GI Process'.

 

I have seen a node in EWM configuration at the node 'Interfaces -> ERP Integration -> Goods Movements -> Defind Custom specific movement types -> Communication EWM --> ERP custom movement types'.

 

But, I haven't seen any further controls for the EWM movement types given there.

Would you please help me if such thing is possible in EWM?

Warehouse task creation

Hi Experts,

 

I am beginner in SAP EWM.I am trying to create one inbound process.

 

I have created inbound delivery and trying to create the ware house task.

 

In which I am not getting any error and can able to create the task successfully.

After I click on button create+save in the message I can see a warehouse order number is created.

But when I go for confirmation it is given a message that selection produced 0 result.

 

Also in the monitor also I cant see any ware house task or order.

 

Can any one guide me on how to resolve this issue.

Inbound delivery status not correct

Hi, experts.

 

   I find that some inbound delivery status is not correct.

   I checked the documents. And find two problems.

 

   1.putaway status is not updated after WT is confirmed.

   I checked the WT status, It was confirmed. But the document flow and putaway stauts is not updated.

2. some not relevant WT is displayed in the doucment flow.

      WT 2489 is also not marked as confirmed in the document flow.

      And WT 2501 & 2554 comes from two posting changes.

     Now I guess problem 2 is caused by problem 1.

 

     So could someone tell me where I made mistake in customizing?

System could not determine source storage bin

Dear experts,

I have an outbound delivery order in EWM with  following warehouse request:

I do create an warehouse task for that request but everytime I get the error:

even the product is available and on stock as the removal strategies are maintained:

 

1. I have configured the Stock Removal Rule -> FIFO

2. The assignment of storage types to storage type search seq is also configured:

AKL1 -> is the source storage type for the stocj removal

 

3. Stock removal control indicator is also there:

4. Determination of Storage Type Search Sequence: Stock Removal is also maintained;

I also have configured the removal strategy FIFO for my storage type.

 

Could you guys give any hit what can be missed?
