beacuse now i use EWM , the packing master data is maintained by ERP, the capacity maintained by EWM,
when the master data send to EWM from ERP,the capacity field is bank. how to solove it?

When i click on the Button "Create new Position" in the Outbound Delivery Order the OTXT Position is not in the List of Value.
is it possible to create a OTXT(Textposition) in EWM in a distributed Outbound Delivery?

I am trying to achieve auto pack functionality in EWM. I have maintained the packaging specification and activated it.
I have packaging material and the HU creation check mark maintained in it. My Putaway storage type is also configured to HU mandatory.
I have also maintained the HU type in EWM product master.
When i create inbound in ECC and transmit to EWM i dont see any HUs populated in HU tab of EWM inbound.
Please let me know if i am missing a step.

I'm trying to confirm a Putaway task with difference of quantity but the exception code that I tried to use it isn't working.
I looking for on web a lot of site but I didn´t find the codes to use in this process.
If you can help give me some tip where I can find this code or wich code Can I use?

Hi all,
I've just created a new storage location for an existing warehouse. This existing warehouse is working perfect, however the new storage locations which I have created is not passing inbound/outbound deliveries to EWM.
- I have assigned the Plant/SLoc to the WH in ECC.
- Mapped storage locations from ERP to EWM
- No "delivery notification" has been created in either status.
- No Queue create in SMQ1/SMQ2 on either side.
- No log for the inbound/outbound delivery in SLG1
The deliveries are distributed and locked in ECC. The one thing that raises a red flag in my opinion is that fact that there are no logs in SLG1 on the ECC for these inbound/outbound deliveries. This makes me believe that the message to pass from ECC to EWM has not even been triggered. Is there some kind of BAPI/FM/CID Mod variant that needs to be maintained in ECC to include this new storage location?

I am facing an issue with fixed Bin assignment. I am following below steps:
1.At Storage type (ST01) level set flag for "Use Fixed Bin"
2.Go to t-code /SCWM/BINMAT and maintain below entries for Bin :
Storage Type -- Bin -- Product -- Max Qty -- Min Qty
ST01 -- B01 -- Prd01 -- 20 -- 10
ST01 -- B02 -- Prd01 -- 30 -- 15
3. Once above entries are maintained replenishment is run and warehosue task gets created for
destination Bin B01 and B02
4. Once task gets created , confirm them in the Bin B01 & B02.
5. Make Bin B01 empty by moving the stock from Bin B01 .
6. As soon as Bin gets empty ,Entries maintaned for B01 in /SCWM/BINMAT gets deleted automatically.
7. I believe it should not get deleted automatically , since I have maintained them manually
in T-code /SCWM/BINMAT
Please suggest.

Hi everyone.
There is a scenario in which goods receipt has been done.
But somehow Handling units are deleted from the inbound delivery unknowingly.
So now user wants to delete the inbound delivery and create a new one with new handling units.
We tried to reverse the delivery through VL09 but it is giving us error. Also we tried to do 102 movement type but that is also giving error.
Can someone please help as how can we delete the delivery ?

1. Currently, customer is using Legacy ERP to run the business and they have a plan to go for SAP implementation. So, in initial phase they are planning to implement EWM in their distribution centre and later planning to go for ECC implementation. Pre ECC implementation Legacy ERP
communicates EWM through custom interfaces.
so, when we go for ECC implementation, what would be the challenges and what are the parameters that we need to consider for transition phase?
Since, already EWM will be in place and will be running their business. Lot of master data and transaction data will be existing in EWM and Legacy ERP system.
2. In future, they are planning to implement 3PL facility to their distribution centre. What are the items that need to consider during the implementation and now?
3. As we know that they are various picking technologies i.e. using barcode, RFID, voice picking and pick to light etc. Since, it is food industry, what is the best picking technology can be deployed in their distribution centre . what are the things need to consider to choose above picking technology.
Can you help me on the above challenges?

We have a requirement as below, can some body help?
We have several WT combined a Wave and hence WO.
Ex a Product has BUOM in EWM as EA. Hence product is stored in Eaches only.
But physically it is stored in BOX, one Box = 30 eaches.
Let's say there are 2 deliveries: Which having 2 Wt each and each WT has 15 eaches for the same product.
So ultimately we have 4 WT from two deliveries which comes upto 60 eaches, which is basically two boxes.
Hence I want to combine it and form 2 WT's of 30 eaches. How can I achieve it?

we are right now on client side and they are using an automated warehouse.The current communication method is IDOC and the system is productive.
The client would like to set up a second automated warehouse with exactly the same settings.
Now the question is, should we go for MFS and make the change in technology or should we adapt the existing IDOC interfaces?
How can we quantify when a change makes sense in terms of a business case and when it makes no sense?

Can GR be posted automatically as soon as inbound delivery is created in EWM?
I have an option to create automatic warehouse task as soon as I press 'Post GR' for my Inbound delivery through PPF condition technique.
But, I would like to have all subsequece documents to be posted automatically as soon as ID is created in EWM.
It means I would like to have below things automatically after ID is created....
IDN --> ID --> post GR --> create WT --> Confirm WT (or) IDN --> ID -- Create WT --> Confirm WT (this will also post GR in background)

we use POSC in outbound process with the following steps:
After pick confirmation (Tx /SCWM/TO_CONF) in the destination HU from Packproposal, the destination hu contains the open external step NORM. If we close the step on our workcenter (workcenter has step NORM in customizing, Tx /SCWM/PACK), the HU still has NORM as external step but the is closed and a HU-Warehousetask is created (via QRFC) to destination bin PG00-0 with external step PBGP.
After confirming this WT the HU is posted to PG00-0, but still has the closed external step NORM.
I would expect that the HU get external step PBGP with WT creation or with WT confimation.
Did I forget some customizing?
I am on EWM 9.1.

We want to use the transportation management only in EWM (i.e. do everything in EWM and not send anything to either ECC or TM).
This is the process that I want to follow:
1) Create Sales order in ECC
2) Create delivery in ECC and distribute to EWM.
3) ODR in EWM is created.
4) ODO in EWM is created and route determined in ODO.
5) From the ODO, I want to create a Planned Shipment document (of type PTRQ).
6) Pick, Pack and Stage as per POSC.
7) Manually create a Freight Document to load build and include multiple Planned Shipment Docs in it.
8) Step 7 should create a TU/Vehicle via some PPF. I don't want to use Check In/Out so just want to manually load in the TU and do PGI
9) Final Shipment document (of type FTRQ) and Bill of Lading document (Of type BOLD) to be generated.
Question 1 - Is this the right sequence flow for the activities?
Question 2 - In Step 5 above, I system is not generating the planned shipment document automatically. Can you please guide me with how to set up the PPF (which action and what are the prerequisites to be met) so that it can create a Planned shipment document.

I am trying Fixed Sampling for which I tried the following scenario.
In my Goods Receipt process the Tasks are getting created my observation is that only the Sample quantity and the Non Sample Quantity are going to the Quality Inspection Work Center. I am using POSC for the this Goods Receipt process.
In my Inbound Delivery there are two HUs and my Fixed Sample Quantity is 4 PC.
My understanding is that only the there should be 3 WTs instead of four i.e. 2 WTs for the Sample (GR Zone to Insp Area to Final Bin) and 1 WT for the non sample (GR Zone to Final Bin)
Please help resolve this issue, as I believe anyone of you would be facing this issue.

Is it possible to update HU Identification in HU Number in Inbound Process? We have 3PL business scenario and we need to have customer wise Stock on hand report. Is there any Way to Update HU Identication field (/SCWM/DE_IDENT) with Customer Code (Sold to Party) during Inbound Process?

Need help regarding to Physical inventory .
We have received list of products that have to be uploaded as part of PI - Inventory .
A document should be created automatically which contains the list of material that need to be counted for that particular day .
These materials counted should not be counted again until the next schedule for that material .
The requirement is to upload all the materials that needs to be counted on certain date .
For Example : We got a list 10 materials and out of 10 materials only 5 needs to be counted on one day and the rest in the coming days irrespective of cycle counting indicator mentioned in warehouse product .
So we need to upload list of materials that can be counted on certain date .
Please help .

We are getting queue struck in SMQ2 in ECC with this Message "Temporary ID does not exist for replacement of delivery" for the inbound delivery, but when checked the inbound delivery in both ECC & EWM, system, i am not sure what is the issue, seems all are OK, If you have experienced this kind of issues, please provide your suggestions to get it resolved.

I have a requirement to implement catch weight for inbound/outbound processes; i.e. I have a pallet which holds cases (nested HUs), so, when the pick warehouse task is created it should propose the source bin to pick the case (not propose the case as source to pick) and user manually picks the case (HU), next weight will be transferred to delivery.
What are the pre-requisites to activate catch weight and steps for implementing for this scenario. Thank you in advance.
