Can I do consumption posting directly in EWM for 201 mvt of ERP?

Hi All

 

Can I do consumption posting in EWM system such that I will trigger consumption posting in ERP for a cost center with 201 movement type?

I have checked the transaction '/SCWM/ADGI' but, it does not have any such option in the drop down for 'GI Process'.

 

I have seen a node in EWM configuration at the node 'Interfaces -> ERP Integration -> Goods Movements -> Defind Custom specific movement types -> Communication EWM --> ERP custom movement types'.

 

But, I haven't seen any further controls for the EWM movement types given there.

Would you please help me if such thing is possible in EWM?

Multiple EAN/UPC for a single product

We are facing the following requirement from one of our vendors.

 

We currently maintain a single EAN/UPC for each of our articles (Retail environment), whether it's an individual or a variant. This is of course updated to EWM via CIF.

 

Now we need to maintain several EAN/UPC for each article, for the same UoM (piece). Thus, in ECC transaction MM42 we updated the "Additional data> Additional EANs" view, which in turn updates table MEAN.

We are updating the customizing for CIF and table MEAN is available as a parameter for function module CIF_PRODUCT_SEND.

Our questions are:

- Where in EWM are the entries equivalent to ECC's MEAN table? (in which transaction, view, table?)

- Will the additional EANs be valid for scanning barcode instead of the product number? We know EAN is valid for 1 to 1 relationship, but we are not sure for the 1:n scenario.


Any guidance on this situation will be most welcomed. In the meantime we are doing some research on our own, and will share the information on this forum.

Stock difference in available and physical stock in SAP EWM

Hello Friends,

 

We are facing one issue for one of the product in ewm , is that , it contained unbalance data in /scwm/mon in SAP EWM.

For available stock = no data

for physical stock = 450 ea

While ecc stock = ewm stock = 450 ea.

Can you please help out to get it resolved asap.

How & Where to get the Scrap Postings report in SAP EWM

Hi,

 

In EWM, I want to get the report of SCRAP Postings which is done via T-Code: "/N/SCWM/ADGI" with different reason codes.

 

I have checked in posted Warehouse Task in monitor transaction but unable to get the specific report.

 

Example:

I want to get the report of last 12 months scrap posting done with Code: SCRP.

 

Please look into issue and help with any possible solutions.

Unable to finf RFC destination for QM connection

Hi All,

 

I am trying to integrate EWM QM with ECC QM.

When I am trying to post goods receipt it is showing "Unable to find RFC destination for QM connection" . I tried assigning Logical system and Business system group in installations but it is still showing me the same error.

Picking scenario

Hi

 

I have a below scenario and need inputs

 

Three deliveries in a Wave

 

Product A: 1 pallet =10cs

 

Delivery 1: 13CS

Delivery 2: 28CS

Delivery 3: 16CS

 

At the warehouse order creation:

 

System must pick full pallet from pallet location and the look for total cases left to pick. if  total cases is equal to 1 pallet, pick from pallet location instead of directing to case pick. The picker will pick overall of 5 pallets (4+1 consolidated by delivery cases)  in this scenario from pallet location and remaining 7 cases from case pick. The 5th pallet will then be allocated to back to deliveries by breaking the pallet by minimum qty required, meaning if 2 cases have to allocated to dlv 1 and 8 to dlv 2, system will ask the user to pick 2 cases from the existing pallet and allcoate to dlv 1 instead of saying pick 8 cases from the pallet and assign it to dlv 2.

 

I know this is not standard in EWM and wanted to understand the BADI (at warehouse order creation) which can help putting the logic to calculate total volume in deliveries  and then determine the pick strategy to pallet location. And also to sort warehouse tasks to break a pallet at allocation. I am happy to know if there is a standard way to achieve this.

Task Interleaving Error

Hi All,

 

Am created two inbound delivery and one outbound delivery using system guided with selection unable get outbound task after inbound task confirmation am getting inbound task again back to back.

 

following configuration done.

 

Queue type defined and assigned to queue, resource group created and assigned to queue type

 

Please let me know if any other configuration or setting am missing

Where is Type of EWM Production Integration defined?

Hello,

 

we would like to use Production Integration with EWM but we are not sure which type of Integration we should use yet:

  • Delivery Based Production Supply or
  • Advanced Production Integration (with PMRs)

 

Actually we have customized our sandbox warehouse for the use of PMRs. Now we intend to test the delivery based way but we do not find customizing path to switch between both types.

How to allow bin change during confirmation for movement type 999

Hi All,

   We are implementing WMS (not extended WMS). and I have problem of

changing bin during confirmation(WM mvmt type 999) as system not allow to change dest bin.

 

Senario:

  - I want to move stock from bin A to bin B 100PC

  - Created TO for bin to bin transfer with mvmt type 999 ( LB10/ FM L_TO_CREATE_MULTIPLE)

   -I want to confirm TO manually and need flexibility to change destination bin during confirmation

 

Currently I can create TO and confirm TO manually. But System not allow to change bin during confirmation.

 

 

Please help.

Free Stock in transit (EWM relevant)

Hi Everyone.

 

Please help me to know ways to receive/remove stock from transit, when receiving plant/SL are EWM relevant.

 

User followed below steps and because of diff in OD and ID quantity, stock is still there in transit.

 

Plant: A : Normal Plant

Plant  B: EWM Plant

 

Steps followed:

 

  1. PO: 4XXXXXXXXXX was created to receive quantity = 1000 CAS (From Plant A to B (EWM Plant)
  2. 2. Outbound Created(Replenishment) : 3XXXXXXXX  for same PO quantity 1000 CAS but later OD quantity was changed to 800 CAS by user. OD processed and stock equal to 800 moved to Stock in transit.
  3. Inbound created with quantity 800 CAS same as OD quantity but while processing the ID in EWM, user changed the quantity to 6009 CAS and so same was received from stock in transit.

 

Now the difference = 800(OD)- 600(IN) = 200, is still in transit.

 

Please help. Let me know if more information is required.

 

Also, we dont want to go with scrapping

SAP EWM Creation of packing specification for Quantity Classification

Hello Experts,

 

I am working on the Quantity Classification and my requirement is to set up QC in such a way that if the stock comes in Boxes, it should go to a storage type B001 and if it comes in Pallets, it should go to P001.

 

The challenge is in setting up the packing specification. How do i set up various levels such that one level is specific to Box and another to Pallet.

 

Example:

 

Upto 20 PC = Box

Upto 50 PC = Pallet

 

I am using the Target and Min qty in the pack spec and have 2 levels. Is this the right way to go?

 

Also, what is the different between the "qty classification' which is mentioned in the General section of Storage Type and "PutawayQtyClass" which is in the Putaway Control section.

Route determination error

Hi Experts

 

We are using routes from ERP system.

It was working fine and we moved to testing system recently.

Now the problem is route field is blank at outbound delivery order.

What we are missing?

Can anyone throw some light on this?

Shelf life expiry date - Removal - SAP EWM

Is it possible to pick a product if expiry date is completed.

Material A - 10 Expiry date 04-25-2016

It doesn't find a stock after the wave release.

How to pick this stock even though it is expired?

Inbound Delivery Error

Hi All,

  I have created an   inbound delivery in  ECC System in TC-VL31N .The  delivery is not  replicated to EWM System .I   am  getting  the following error

in  TC-SLG1 .

" A DQM for SAP technical error  occurred at transaction VL31N .".

 

1, I have checked  in smq1 and smq2  in ecc  and ewm systems-  no queue  in the systems.I have  attached the screenshot .

I am facing the issue while posting the ADHOC PI document. i didnt define any tolerances group for posting difference to my warehouse,even though i am facing the issue.

/SCWM/PI_CC_CREATE - Include inventoried objects

I am trying to understand the purpose of the Include inventoried objects checkbox in the /SCWM/PI_CC_CREATE transaction.  It says that it will force a product or bin to be included even if it has been counted for the current period, but this is not working.

I have a product with a CC indicator that says it should be counted once per year.  However, if we did want to create an ad-hoc CC count for it after it has already been counted for the year, I thought that we would just have to select this checkbox, however the selection produces no results and the the log says the product is complete for the AA.

If I change the inventory period to the following year, with or without the "include inventoried objects" check box selected, the product is found:

I am thinking there is an OSS note for this behavior, but I could not find one specific to this problem.

SAP EWM Transit Warehousing release 9.3

Hi Expert,

 

I working on a scenario where a Freight order is created in TM system and replicated to EWM system via PI. During the process the Freight Order is created successfully in TM and passed through PI system but, stuck in EWM system with error

1. "Text Profile does not exist"

2 " Field Item: Shipper: Business Partner is a required field for the action HDR: Save Node"

 

I have maintained the required shipper and customer but still facing the error, can you guys suggest the required steps to resolve the issue. Also would like to know which Text profile is required to be maintained and what value need to be entered.

Putaway strategy - Addition to existing stock

Experts,

 

short question - is it possible to setup putaway strategy to first look for storage bins that already contain material/batch combination, then for empty bins?

 

In the Search sequence, I can setup the puaway rule to "Addition to existing stock/Empty bin", but in description I can see:

"The system first looks for empty bins. If no empty bins are found, it looks for partially occupied bins only."

 

So it search the "wrong way".

 

Example:

 

Actual example in the system:

 

I have a location A with max 3 pallets, 2 pallets are in (one pallet can be stored).

Today they moved one pallet back in the racks, system guided to a different empty location B (should go to location A)
