Warehouse order not creating randomly during wave release

We recently came across a scenario where upon releasing a wave manually, few items in a delivery had only warehouse tasks created but no warehouse order.
Also see these warehouse task had no warehouse order creation rule (WOCR) determined.

The same items in same wave but another deliveries had warehouse task and warehouse order created successfully.

 

Can anyone advice what could the reason be that warehouse order are not getting created?

Normally won't the standard or default WOCR get determined to create WO when no WOCR is determined?

Hello Experts,

 

I am working on STO.My inbound delivery got created on posting goods issue and sent to EWM.For some reason i rejected that delivery in EWM and reprocessed output type in ECC VL02N which created a new inbound delivery.Now this new delivery is in inactive status due to the error : ASN/BOL reference already exists in document .Can you help me with this?

Putaway HU creation using 0PAL

Dear All

I am wondering whether 0PAL would automatically create Putaway HU's as part of palletization similar to 0IBD that  does the packing in the inbound delivery .

Any help in this highly appreciated

The cycle count for it failed in the Inbound Monitor saying the SN is already in use by another object.

Hi Experts,

 

Could you please help me how to resolve this issue

Serial number xxxxxx is already being used by another item

Message no. IO208

Diagnosis

You have already used serial number xxxxxx in another item.

You can only allocate a serial number for a single serialized material.

System Response

Processing will not be continued.

Procedure

Allocate a serial number that has not yet been assigned.

 

This is strucked in Queue monitoring in smq2 transaction.

User is tried to change the serial status from AVLB to ESTO i had already sent the screen shots to change the status.

 

But he is asking me to clear the strucked queue in smq2

 

please suggest on this.

Deletion of Batches at EWM level

Hi Experts,

 

 

Our client doesnt have an ECC environment. We have connected EWM with mainframe (Order processing system). Many limitations are there with this connectivity.

 

One such is number range restriction for product. They are reusing the old product number as an work around.

 

If the old product is batch managed, then they cannot use the same number for a non batch product.

 

Is there any standard way we can delete the batches at EWM level.

 

Please guide us. Looking forward for your valuable inputs.

Lock/Unlock Storage Type

How we can lock/unlock storage type in ewm during putaway/picking ?

 

In wm we can do it using ls06/ls07/ls08.

 

Do we have any transaction code in ewm for the same.

Putaway control indicator (PACI)

Hello everybody,

 

I am a beginner in EWM.

Could you please help me to clarify the following question?

 

When I set the PACI in products, it means that products are putaway in an appropriate Storage type 1.

The next time is it possible to putaway the same products in other Storage type 2? For business it is important to store products in different Storage types but still keeping PACI for Storage type 1.

Work Step not reflecting in VAS work center

Hi Guys,

 

I have configured VAS inbound Scenario.Pack spec does not have a packaging material but have added work steps.

In my VAS order pack spec is getting determined.But in VAS work center work steps are not showing up.Any check points what could be the issue here ?

Inspection lot with origin 17 got created on GR @ EWM but external lot number not updated

Hello Team,

 

Inspection lot with origin 17 is getting created and released in ECC as soon as the I/B GR is been completed in EWM . But this ECC inspection lot number is not updated in inspection  document in EWM .  I think due to this the UD of the inspection lot in ECC also is not updating in EWM inspection document .

 

Please suggest

Auto HU

Hi gurus,

 

I have created a pack spec for one material and it is creating automatic HU for Inbound delivery via Purchase Order.

 

But when I am using same material for Expected Goods Receipt system is not triggering automatic HU .

 

Do I have missed any configuration .

Inbound delivery in ECC

I am working with EGR process .

 

After creating inbound delivery in ewm ,I didn't found inbound delivery document in ecc.

 

Once Inbound delivery is created in ewm system shall create inbound delivery in ecc ? Isn't it ?

Quantity Classification

Hi gurus,

 

How the quantity classification identifies the full pallet and partial pallet.

 

We have defined one storage type for full pallet and other for partial pallet storage.

 

System is not allowing to store partial pallet in full pallet storage type.

 

But full pallet are being allowed to store in partial pallet storage type.

 

How to restrict so that system shall not suggest partial pallet storage type for full pallet.

How to reverse 2 Step Picking for a Group of Deliveries with LT0G?

Hi, Experts!  I'm facing some dificulties to reverse a 2 Step Picking for a Group of Deliveries with LT0G and I would like to ask if there's any standard restrictions in this case, and if so, how can I reverse this 2 step picking group with sucess. Basically, I confirmed the TO's for Picking Step(Source Bin to Group Bin(Dynamic) to the Storage Type 200) and also confirmed the TO's for Allocation Step(Source Group Bin(Dynamic) from the Storage Type 200 to Delivery Number Storage Bin(Dynamic) at the Storage Type 916). Until here, everything is fine and working as expected.  When I try to reverse the Picking confirmation for the Delivery using the tcode LT0G in Background, the stock returns to the Original Storage Type and the Delivery Picking Status turns from "C" to "A", and it's also fine. The problem is that, when I consult the Group(LX39), the Picking step is RED(traffic light) BUT, the Allocation step continuous GREEN(traffic light), with the TO's confirmed and without any change..  With this cenário, I can not continue the process,  I can not repeat the picking steps using the same group, and also I can't change or delete the group or even remove the Deliveries from the Group to put in a new one due to the Group status(Allocation Confirmed). Is there anything i should check in the customization, or LT0G doesn's work to reverse 2StepPicking operation's and there is another standard way to do so? I'm using WM in SAP ERP 6.0. Best regards. OBD Issue

Hello Experts ,

 

I'm facing one issue at my customer . He is using EWM7.0 version .

 

From the ECC only one Outbound delivery was distributed to EWM system. However, system is created TWO ODR and TWO ODO. These Two ODO's are assigned to one Wave.

 

Due to this Picker did the Picking twice and the quantities were  delivered to customer twice.

 

The surprise thing that how system generated Two documents using only one Delivery from ECC .

 

I have checked for exceptions. But there is no any exceptions and both are having full quantities.

 

Anybody can help me  ? Waiting for your response.

How to chose the GR location

Hi experts,

 

very stupid question (maybe):

 

When I'm in the PRDI, I can press the Goods Receipt button and post my product to the bin (in my case it's 9010, GR-ZONE).

 

When I have 2 different locations in 9010 --> how will the system chose the location?

 

Background: We have the production in ERP system, and now I want to have all RAW materials coming back from production in a different GR zone.

 

Any suggestions/ideas?
