EWM 9.3: Transit Warehousing Airfreight

Delivery Split

Experts,

Inbound Delivery Split in EWM is communicated to ERP immediately. But Outbound Delivery Order Split in EWM is only communicated to ERP via Goods Issue. Why is it so? can we also have ODO sent to ERP immediately upon creation before PGI (just like Inbound)?

Unable to Create Warehouse Orders in Pick Pack & Pass scenario.

Hi Experts,

I am executing Pick Pack & Pass scenario as given in EWM-120. When I attempt to create WTs from ODO, I am able to create 3 WTs and only one WO whereas as per given settings, system is expected to create 4 WOs and 3 WTs.

Simulating WO creation with given PPHL WOCR, I see the following messages:

Rule PPHL cannot be used, since activity area cannot be divided

  1. Messageno. /SCWM/WHO064

Diagnosis

For the current warehouse order creation rule PPHL, you want the system to create warehouse orders of category Pick, pack, and pass.

However, because no “activity areas for dividing in Customizing” (link to click) are assigned to activity area, this rule cannot be used.

Note: The customizing link given in message takes me to the path where I have done correct config as per given config set up.

Error Log.jpg

Is there anything that I am missing, I have verified twice, config was done as given in 120.

Thanks

Mahesh

Deconsolidation Process in EWM

Hi All,

I am trying to do Deconsolidation using POSC and somehow it is not working starting from IB01. Here is what I have done.

1. Set up POSC as per below snapshots.

2. Set up different PACI for 2 Products which have different Activity Areas.

3. Different Consolidation Groups for each Activity Area.

4. Created Work Center and assigned Storage Bin to the Work Center.

5. Created PO with 2 materials and later created inbound delivery and packed 2 items into 1 HU.

6. IBD was distributed to EWM and when I try to create WT for step1, system is throwing error which is shown.

I have attached all the config steps that I have done. Request you to check and correct me if I am missing something.

Thank You,

Pavan

Pick into a different HU based on Route?

$

Hi all,

We have a requirement to use a different HU (we use TOTES) based on the ROUTE (our ROUTES are engineers in the field).  This is because some engineers require lower weight TOTES.

Can someone walk me through the config required to set this up?

Current Process:

  • ERP Delivery raised
  • EWM Wave created automatically
  • Wave released manually
  • WO created
  • WT split depending on HU Weight limit

New Process:

  • ERP Delivery raised
  • EWM Wave created automatically
  • Wave released manually
  • WO created
  • WT split depending on HU Weight limit
  • HU determined by ROUTE

Steps done:

  • I have created a new TRANSPORTATION ZONE in ERP
  • I have created a new WAVE TEMPLATE in EWM
  • I have created a new HU based on the old one, but with a lower weight limit
  • I have created a new WOCR
  • I have created a new PACKAGING SPEC using the new WOCR

I'm now trying to figure out how to link the new ROUTE with the new WOCR but keeping the same ACTIVITY etc.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Generate deletion shipment

hi experts,

Need to generate a deletion shiment that shall send a deletion message to EWM when the user deletes the shipment.

Would like to generate this deletion shipment using BADI BADI_LE_SHIPMENT at save or at deletion.

Want to generate an idoc similar to SHIPMNT06. In my Memory, there was an indicator on the Header Segment that indicates whether is a Change, create or deletion. Has someone done the same thing before and if yes, can u send me the source code or help me how i can retrieve the data although the user has deleted the shipment?

Can you send me a screenshot of this standard change indicator and whether we have it on shipment Header and delivery item Level?

Many thanks

Petra

Single Delivery for multiple reservation

$

Hi,

I am trying create outbound deliveries for open reservations through MB26 t-code. I selected all entries and posted. After the deliveries got created, I found that in some instances, single delivery is getting created for multiple reservations. For example, in one case, one delivery is created for 3 reservations (created for 3 work orders).

Can anybody suggest why system creates one delivery for multiple reservations?

Thanks

eWM Document Flow tables: How are they linked??

$

Hi there,

I face the following issue:

We have some custom coding where we need to go through the Document Flow documents that are linked to an Inbound Delivery.

I have table /SCDL/DB_PROCI_I    which contains the item from which I need the Document Flow-details.

I found table /SCDL/DF_INB          which contains the Document Flow-links.

My question is now:  How are /SCDL/DB_PROCI_I  and   /SCDL/DF_INB     related / linked to each other?

Thank you,

reg., Walter.

Wave management without deconsolidation

$

Hi team,

I would like to know if any of you have worked with wave management without deconsolidation?

The first step of the wave transfers the HUs from the bin to the staging area, gathering the quantities of the items.

The second step the system splits the HUs and transfers the quantities to the outbound deliveries.

In this case I want to avoid the split or deconsolidation. I want to send all the HUs there are in the staging area to the door.

Thank you in advance.
