Delivery for EWM not created when Production Order for staging released in ERP.

Hi Experts,

 

I am working on Production staging scenario. I created and released Production Order in ERP expecting to create and distribute Deliveries to EWM, but did not happen.

 

I have created new S Loc and assigned to Warehouse in ERP and to Availability group 0003 in EWM. I have created remaining set up like PSA, Staging Bins etc. I am using Two Storage Location with SIngle Warehouse scenario.

 

Surprising is none of SLG1, SMQ1/SMQ2 in ERP or EWM show anything about delivery creation. I have GR S Location as RD00 and Production Storage Location 0003 for Staging components in Production Order. I hope this thing is enough to determine EWM relevance.

 

Am I missing anything, Please suggest.

HU complete withdrawal for different batches

Dear Sirs,

 

 

I have a scenario with a HU with the same product but differents batches.

When I create the pick WT the system creates one WT for each batch.

 

How can I create only one WT for complete withdrawal for this HU?

Remove customization in WM

Hi experts,

 

What are the consequences of removing the following customization?

Enterprise Structure => Assignment => Logistics Execution => Assign warehouse number to plant / storage location

 

We need to remove this customization of some storage locations, to perform the inventory in MM, however we need to know what are the consequences of that.

EWM posting change error, status is locked...

Hello,

 

I am trying to create posting change in EWM from unrestricted to block in put away using transaction code /n/scwm/post. Posting change document gets created but with status red. When I tried to analyse the error, I am getting below error. Please guide how to resolve  the issue?  Following error does not provide direction about resolution of error.

 

"  Delivery 3343, item 10, is "locked", (posting not possible)" "Posting change could not be carried out. "

Warehouse task for nested HU

Hi Sirs,

 

I have one HU with more two HU inside.

When I create a pick warehouse task, it is created for highest HU.

I need to create the pick warehouse task for the lowest level from a nested HU.

 

How can I do it?

No availiable stock for componets in kit to stock

CIF issue

Experts,

 

I am able to CIF my material from ECC to EWM, however there is some ifnormation that is not being pulled in EWM.

 

In ECC "plant storage data1 " for material, I am choosing a storage condition say "01", which I want to be populated in warehouse product data "Storage" tab. This is not happening.

As per my understanding except the three warehouse specific views( whse data, slotting and storage type), rest of views should adopt all the information from ECC.

Everything except the "Storage" view is being updated. Need to understand if I am missing somethinig here.

 

Please help.

TU/door assignment overlaps error and incorrect dates in yard door period view

Hello friens,

 

I am trying to conform yard movement warehouse order from source parking bin to destination door bin of warehouse. I am getting below error. I have already checked yard door in /scwm/mon. There is no TU assigned to door. The door is free, But in the same window when I checked yard door period view, I found that my door is occupied until 31-Dec-2014. i.e. free from 31-Dec-2014. My questions are

 

(1) If my door is free from TU as per the status then why and from where occupied from and free from dates appears in yard doors in period view tab of /scwm/Mon?

(2) How to get rid of these dates?

 

(3) I am getting below error while confirmation of warehouse task. How to get rid of below error? I believe if above point 2 is resolved then I will be able to confirm warehouse task.

 

"TU/door assignment from 07.03.2014/16:58:59 to 31.12.2014/22:59:59 has overlaps"

Goods Return without any Document

Hi all,


I tried Goods Return (Sales) without any reference document (Invoice). The goods have received in warehouse in proper storage location and ATP(Available To Promise) is also increased. The only problem is Credit note cannot be generated. I tried to create credit note manually, but no result.

Tcode used : VA01

Order Type : ZG2

Returns with ref. to : w/o Original

Please tell me how to get credit note in this process.

Time tracking in a work centre

Hi Experts,

 

I am staging components for a process order using a posting change request, due to this I am unable use VAS order in a production work-center (VAS order is applicable only for inbound/outbound deliveries),

 

But I would like to track time for the activities in a work-center , do we have any option to achieve this without creating a VAS order ?

Expected GR - Cannot able to complete

when the EGR is done by SCWM/RUFI, i am getting an error message YEU_RFA:072

 

Details:

 

in RUFI , when i enter into goods receipt - >putaway and after enter HU ,

 

the system is providing error message as " Warehouse task can only be processed by SPS "

 

But still warehouse task is in waiting status

 

please let me know how can i solve this issue

Pick Pack Pass Removing HU

Dear Experts,

 

I need your kindly support. When implementing pick pack pass function, if I were to remove two handling unit from two different Activity Area, the HU got picked first will not enter the pick-HU and will remain on resource. However, if I pick two products(instead of HU), the problem will not occur.

 

 

If Picking two HU 612/613 into 90031(pick-HU)

User-Exit/ Enahncement for LT03

Hi All,

I have a requirement like this:-

In case you have a partial picking a TO(TA Code-LT03) will also need to get the information, which Storage Unit type can be used.
The Functionallity needs to be extended for partial pickings.A partial picking is existing, when not a full pallet is picked

I need a enhancement which should determine the Storage Unit Type (SUT) based on the following logic

If storage unit type "PAL" (LTAP-LETYP) is being determined within the Transfer Order. and if LTAP-VSOLM = MLGN-LHMG1  then

LETYP = MLGN-LETY1 or if MLGN-LHMG1=9.999.999.999  then LETYP = MLGN-LETY1.

I tried with User Exit MWMTO007 and MWMTO001.

For MWMTO007, it did not trigger and for MWMTO001,  data is not being changed.

Can anybody suggest any user-exit/enhancement?

VLMOVE Create Inbound Issue - Inbound & HU Stuck

VLMOVE was made with movement type 305 to complete a plant to plant move using the 'Create Inbound' instead of 'Post' by mistake.

The HU is now in a status 'HU with inventory mgmt scheduled for other HU storage loc'.

- The inbound can't be unpacked: states 'HU is in transit >> Cannot be changed',

- The inbound can't be received: states 'Storage unit XXXX  does not exist'

- The inbound can't be deleted: states 'Delivery still contains HU's'

- The HU can't be deleted: states 'Processing of HUs for selected objects not possible'.

- MIGO GR: states 'Inbound does not contain any selectable items'.

- HUCANC: states 'HU XXXX is assigned to a delivery - can't reverse material doc.
Any thoughts how to delete the HU or inbound?

[EWM] Picking from bulk storage - Pick Point

Hi,

 

I have some issues with the following scenario:

 

There is a warehouse with bulk storage. Putaway of partial HUs back is allowed.

- Picking of HUs (full pallets) should be transferred - direct - to the goods issue zone

- For picking of partial HUs a picking point should used. This process consists several steps

-- Transferring the full pallet (HU) to the picking point

-- Take the requested portion of the product and create a second HU

-- Transfer the new HU to the GI-zone

-- Put away the old HU with the updated quantity back

 

My solution approach:

 

To route full and partial picks differently the layout-oriented storage control can be used. There is an option for partial removal.

- For complete stock pick there is an entry in the layout-oriented storage control table not necessary, because there are not any Interim storage bins. (Storage bin -> GI-zone)

- For partial picks there is an entry to route via the pick-point

 

Problems:

- The layout-oriented storage control works only with HU-Warehouse-Task. But the first in the context of the outbound delivery order generated WT is a product WT.

- I didnt quite follow the rf processing (partial stock removal). After I enter the source-HU, in the respective screen, i get only the option to enter the destination bin (GI-zone). As a result the request product quantity is in the GI-zone without a HU-number.

 

Does somebody has some helpful advice on my issues?

Sales BoM / Kit to Order to EWM

Hi There,

    i have a simple need which any one can help me out.

1. create one Sales Bom with 4 components in ERP.

2. On Save and creation of the DN the delivery should be distributed. But the delivery is not getting distributed and i guess its not even trying to get distributed.

 

I am not sure what setting i a am missing to only distribute Sales BoM components to EWM and get it picked from there. Ideally i dont want them to go for kit.

Just pick and pack completion of components in EWM and send it back to ERP.
