EL document mapping with INB

Hi ,

 

I am trying to map document type INB with ERP document type EL.

 

I did config

 

Define Document Types for Inbound Delivery Process

Define Item Types for Inbound Delivery Process

Define Document Type Determination for Inbound Delivery Process

Define Item Type Determination for Inbound Delivery Process

Map Document Types from ERP System to EWM

Map Item Types from ERP System to EWM

 

Also I have selected the INB document type INB in WPT determination .

 

Still system is proposing INBS document type and WPT is not getting determined .

 

Guys any check pointers where I can check and fix it.

POSC - Dest HU

Hello Experts,

 

I am working POSC with rule based .

 

When I confirm unloading WT system system is suggesting source HU as Destination HU for Final putaway.

 

We don't want system to propose destination HU because we will create new HU manually at workcenter .

 

Please suggest .

RF Screens are not appearing properly on RF handheld scanner device

Hi All

 

We are using intermec/honeywell handheld RF devices. When we view the page in RF device the content is not exactly fitting into device screen area. It is appearing as it appears on desktop browser. Do we need any special browser like wavelink?

 

Also we have devices of different varieties of screen sizes. Instead of creating different profile for each device can't we automatically adjust screen for the device?

ERP handling units not updated to EWM

We have an issue in that inbound delivery handling units in ERP are not updated in EWM system . What could be the possible reasons for that

Outbound delivery split ECC EWM

Dear experts,

 

I need your help on this issue, once I couldn't find solution on my searches..

 

Well, I've been trying to split an outbound delivery created at ECC and already distributed to EWM.

A second ODO was already created at EWM (referring to the initial ODR) but, when I try to send it back do ECC (after Goods Issue) it get stuck at SMQ2 with these 2 errors (detailed at SLG1):

Message LEDSP037 - Function module LE_DSP_REMOTE was terminated with exception 6

Message LEDSP007 - No split profile in TVDSP for activity '0003' deliv. type 'ZVMI'

 

In other words, at t.code VL01N (ECC) I created doc no. 123456 with 10pcs. This doc was distributed to EWM as ODR and was reference to create another doc number as ODO, no. 234 with 10pcs. I picked up 7pcs of them and let 3pcs to another ODO, no. 235 (created at EWM). I goods issued doc no. 234 with 7pcs and this message got stuck like system couldn't accept 2 ODOs for 1 ODR.

 

Among some attempts, I've simulated delivery split using split profile via t.code VLSP, which got another message error:

Message LEDSP074 - Delivery 80000588 is distributed to another system; split not possible.

 

Please, could anyone help me on setting an outbound delivery process where it get splitted at EWM and registered back accordingly at ECC?

Hope I was clear, let me know if I missed any detail.

Warehouse order still in process

We have the WTs in confirmed status but still the warehouse orders are in process. This WT is for internal warehouse movement.

Hello friends of EWM,

 

recently, we received feedback in the SAP Help Portal for the documentation of DataStore object: 0WM_DS11 (http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_06/helpdata/en/27/7c32b7497c42ab932111d0f9450164/frameset.htm)

 


Here is the feedback:

I am trying to see what part numbers are tied to an empty bin so I can clear the data and delete the bin

 

 

It sounds like a consulting request. Since the feedback was anonymous there were no contact information. Thus, I post a few proposals here:


- The DataSource 0WM_STOCK in BI could help for the above scenario

- Another option for "smaller" lists of bins: Select the empty bins of a certain storage type via Warehouse Monitor. Afterwards, query in /SCWM/BINMAT with the result list of empty storage bins whether they still have assignments to products

Related to ECC-TM-EWM integration we are currently discussing the logic as how loading point process should be set up and its impact in EWM.

Does EWM actually identify loading point and also shipping point which is set up in ECC?If yes on which object.

EWM sample-drawing procedure issue

Hi,

I'm having problem with sampling scheme in EWM.

When I create inbound delivery, with handling units informations, in ECC,

and then check EWM /SCWM/PRDI it looks like the sample-drawing procedure

was completely missed in calculation samples quantities to testing and takes only

fixed value of sample quantity.

 

 

I've found BADI QIE_INDIV_SMP_DRWI but I'm not sure if that will solve my issue.

Can You tell me also how to make BADI working, couse it's active and I have debugger

point set in implementation but I don't now how to trigger it.

Warehouse Management used as a Batch system for non batch material?

We need to keep the Migo number (or rather a number we get in migo) for all of our imported material.


I do not see a problem achieving this for material with batch but I do not know how to keep this information for non-batch material.


Could maybe this be done with storage bins with Warehouse Management?

Labor time spent on completing Packing POSC step

Hi,

 

Want your suggestions as to how we can capture the labor time spent on packing step in POSC.

Requirement is we have to capture the Labor time spent of packing process step.

 

Our POSC has got: OB01, OB02, OB03 & OB04 process steps.

 

with OB01 step completion, a pick HU is created and moved to Packing work center.

As a next step when we perform packing in the work center  i.e. reapck the pick HU to Ship HU

System is creating a WT for OB02 step and immediately confirming the same.

 

So we thought by removing immediate confirmation from Repack WPT: 3040, labor time could be monitored. But system gives us an error when we do this.

 

Can any one of you suggest how we can acheive this requirement?

Quality Inspection in EWM - Partly accepted scenario

Hello Everyone

 

I need help regarding partially accepted scenario. For example out of 10 Cases/Item XYZ of qty 10, 4 are good and remaining 6 are not good. Business wants to accept only those 4 and return remaining 6. In this scenario, how do we configure the follow up actions? Do we get item/quantity wise updates form ECC? I have maintained quality score 50 against decision and assigned below PTWP action to it. Whenever that decision code was used in ECC, it is properly updating inspection document in EWM. But EWM, is making the 100% qty as Accepted with follow up action PTWP.

 

  1. 1.      Do we need results recording in ECC for this scenario?
  2. 2.      Do we need to implement any BADI to select which Case/Item can be accepted/rejected?
  3. 3.      Is HU mandatory for performing QI in EWM?

 

In the EWM system, I could not configure more than 1 follow up action for a decision code.

A question about QIE finding type when doing quality inspection decide

How can I define the code option? what is the meaning of findings,No.Objects ,Systematic,code？I think if I don't transfer the quality sample to ECC ,this part 'finding screen' can be used to record more quality result .

Inbound processing with POSC: Issues with WTs.

Dear EWM Experts,

 

I have configuered POSC for Inbound Delivery Processing.

 

POSC has 3 steps:    Unload, Count, Putaway (IB01 / CNT / IB03).

 

To start with, I have distributed Inbound Delivery from ERP to EWM without HU.  I created a HU by using Packing Functionality for Inbound Delivery.

 

The next step I did is to go to "Unload" Screen and created "Unloading WTs (Complex)" by selecting a HU.  A WT was created.  I confirmed this WT.

 

But the unloading WT has Soucre Storage Type=  9030, Source Bin = UNLOAD_01.  Destination Storage Bin has also been determined from 0020 Storage type.  Once I confirmed the unloading WT ,  the Goods Receipt, Putaway and Unloading - All 3 - status in Inbound Delivery was changed to "Completed".

 

I am surprised by this behaviour as the POSC had 3 steps and just by executing Unloading and Confirming the WT, all activities were completed for Inbound Delivery.

 

Wehether the system should have created 3 WTs, 1 per each activity? why unloading WT has destination storage bin from 0020 storage type? Is there some thing wrong with my configuration?

 

Tried to provide with maximum information.  Please guide me through to execute a simple Inbound flow with POSC.
