Do we have any class or Function module in EWM that will help retrieve the delivery reference for a warehouse order?
Currently we are fetching field RDOCID from table /SCWM/ORDIM_O but this method has considerable performance issues.

I am new to EWM Area and could not find a BAPI to create/update/delete Transportation Unit.
After some more Investigation looks like its done using Classes.Can anyone help on How to create/update/delete TU using ABAP Code .

I'm struggling with one process.
Following situation: there is one plant 001 with separate EWM system X and another plant 002 with another EWM system Y. There is also one ERP system for both plants.
I'd like to transport one HU with some material from one plant to another, but have some understanding problems....
1. It is possible to perform this HU transfer only between 2 EWM Systems? Or ERP is always needed (well for stock booking off course)?
When ERP is needed:
2. When I do this HU transfer from one EWM (X) to other EWM (Y). Has this process to be started in ERP? Or? When yes...
So I start a stock transfer in ERP and as a result one outbound-delyvery in EWM (X) will be created...this delivery contains some data (like material, amount etc. ) and now the question:
- will an inbound.delivery in EWM (Y) also be created?
- if this inbound delivery will be automatically created, will this inbound-delivery also contain the data (material, amount etc.) from the ountbound-delivery?
3. Is it usual that one company runs more than one EWM-Systems? I mean is it much more easier to have one EWM system which contains more than one physicall storage?

I'm new to EWM .
I have created a function group with screen.
I getting a short dump , while executing the function group via /SCM/MON.
The error Short Dump in abap program /SCWM/CL_WME_MONITOR_SRVC=====CP" in GET_NODE method.
In get node method reference is not created.
Please suggest with valuable solutions.

In EWM Order related replenishment.I have open order quantity as 100 KG.
I have 3 Fixed Bin assigned as
Bin Max Qty Min Qty
B01 30 10
B02 40 10
B03 50 10
In EWM Outbound delivery is determining Rough bin as Bin B01
On executing Replenishment in /SCWM/REPL, system is determining only B01 and creating task only for
30 Kg (Max defined for B01).
But it should create 2 more warehouse task , 40 Kg from B02 and 30 Kg from B03 (to make 100 Kg) which is not happening.
Please suggest if I am missing any setting. I think I have done all necessary settings.
How can we assign multiple Rough Bin?

I've not worked in 9.1 and we are thinking of upgrading at some point next year ; we are currently on SAP EWM 7.02 SP13.
If you have done such upgrade,I'd be really interested to see how you approached the subject,the pros and cons,what to look out,etc,etc...

I have create a function group in EWM system with selection screen and function module.
But after assigning Function group to /scm/mon t.code , while executing the t.code i'm facing error as Short Dump in abap program /SCWM/CL_WME_MONITOR_SRVC=====CP" in GET_NODE method.
Error Analysis as below : ST22 Dump
You attempted to use a 'NULL' object reference (points to 'nothing') access a component (variable: " ").
Please let me know what is the main reason for error along with solution.

Dear experts,
our storage has a EWM-controlled part and a part controlled by another WHS.
i have following problem: In our storage a HU can leave the EWM-controlled part of the storage. In this situation this HU should be blocked for all processes, excluding the stock putaway proccess. But when the HU gets back into the EWM-controlled part of the storage, because the stock putaway process has been executed, the HU no longer should be blocked for any other process.
Did somebody know how to manage this status-problem for each HU ?
Could a stock removal of a HU be an alternative ? Or will the HU-history be deleted by executing of a stock removal process?

We are performing an ad-hoc PI process at our client's warehouse. This is completely manual and no RF guns are used. So the requirement is to close all open WTs before starting the PI process and once complete re-create them. Is this possible with SAP EWM?
I know we can cancel all WTs using SCWM/MON transaction, but please let me know what is the best way to re-create WTs. Your response will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Scenario -
I have created two wave templates for A Class and B Class items.
For A class items the wave is released immediately and for B Class items wave is released automatically according to the template.
I have scheduled wave for every half an hour for B Class Items. As per config Warehouse request are getting assigned to wave immediately once outbound deliveries are distriubuted to EWM. But when the system is trying to release the wave as per release time in wave template it is showing the below error.
Please note there is no issue while releasing the wave manually.

I have to write a functional specification document, for a Physical Inventory doc. print-out in EWM. As it is about standard, without any other formulated additional requirements, I decided to write a description and generic information and attach a sample. ...but I can't, as I do not yet have access to Sandbox and configuration is not open in Dev.
Can somebody help me with a sample of standard EWM Physical Inventory print-out document ?! I need generic and simple.

I'm currently in the process of designing and planning a major upgrade to our warehouse infrastructure and management system. We are currently running an SAP WM module (for warehouse management duties), in conjunction with an SAP IM module (for consumption and tracking of the goods, once delivered from the warehouse).
The upgrade of our current system will see the introduction of both barcoding and RFID technologies. One requirement of the proposed system will be to confirm the delivery (time and location) of a given pallet/container/good. In our current environment, the lack of standard integration between our WM and IM environments has made this almost impossible, without considerable customisation.
My question is this: with an SAP EWM platform, can the confirmation of a successful warehouse delivery be extended to the point of delivery, as opposed to the point of despatch from the warehouse?
Any clarification here would be much appreciated.

No action carried when trying to pull or push PO to EWM. I tried ran the report in ERP and EWM; both has no result.

We have done quality inspection in a Ecc-Ewm integrated scenario. We are working on a scenario wherein I have say 10 Hus received in warehouse. I want to perform inspection at Hu level and move 1 Hu to quality area and remaing Hu to Racks in Q4 state.
When i tried using sampling type as 'Container', system sent all the HUs to quality with sample qty. Any clue as to what i have missed to.

We are facing an issue in which split delivery from EWM is referring the UOM conversion from Material Master instead of PO/Original Delivery.
When Outbound Delivery is created with reference to STO , it takes UOM conversion from Material master , but when split delviery update comes from EWM it refers new conversion from Material master and in case its changed after STO creation it will create inconsistency.
for example below delivery had conversion 1 CAR = 40 EA , afterwards it was changed to 1 CAR = 80 EA , now when in EWM it was PARTIAL processed split in ECC lead to update of open quantity for 0.250 CAR = 20 EA according to new UOM conversion , but if you check delivery it still says 1 CAR = 40 EA and it looks inconsistent.

In many cases update from EWM also causes ABAP dump due to inconsistent delivered quantity and Goods Issue quantity in STO.
In Retail Scenario its common they change the UOM conversion of cases and cartons for some materials frequently.
Everything in Stock Transfer Order is referring original STO Conversion except for Delivery notes which is referring Material Master new conversion.

Currently we need DC-DC transfer , so same DC can act as vendor and same can act as Customer , but in SCM system if we create one as Vendor it is not allowing to add CRM002 to same BP and vice versa.
Any suggestions ?

I'm starging to work with EWM now and I need your help in an issue bellow:
We have a Cross Docking Process here, where the same Handling Unit when arrives at warehouse is associated a PDI Document in fied Stock Reference, and after creation the picking task "Process Type 201" the system automatically change the reference to PDO document that is created.
I don't know how its happen but I have some HU whithout this reference, so I can't remove this HU through goods issue because the system need a reference to do this process.
Somebody know how Can I associated manually the PDO document to a HU ? Is there some transaction where I can do it ?

What is the use of storage type 1005 (production supply GI) in SAP EWM.
When I am confirming the production order in ERP, consumption delivery is created to EWM for the linked PSA. When I do GI against this consumption delivery, stocks are issued/consumed from storage type 1000. So, I need to maintain the component stocks in storage type 1000 which is a PSA in EWM.
Would you please explain me similar scenario with storage type 1005 so that I can understand the use of this storage type.
