Hi,

I am analyzing a system and my requirement is to identify if the client is using Warehouse Management actively. I can see that there are transfer orders being created and are available in LTAK table. Further to this what else can I check to know that the client is using WM or EWM actively.

Using table TMAPSTLOC to get Plants for an EWM Report/Output

Hi,

I'm trying to create a report that extracts material details including the plant from which the material was produced.

The plant comes from using the table /SCWM/TMAPSTLOC. From what I know it's used to connect ECC data with that of EWM.  I'm linking this to the table /SCWM/AQUA and /SCWM/BINMAT for other details.

When the data comes out I've noticed that a record is almost identifical except for the field, TMAPSTLOC-AVLGRP.

I would like to know if:

  • This is the correct way to query data from EWM tables. Example, am I using the correct tables etc. I'm doing this because I have to pull data into an external report/output for auditing purposes. The end user will not have or should not need access into the EWM system itself.

  • Why do I find two almost identical records with only AVLGRP as the difference? Should I focus only on one type of AVLGRP? I've noticed different statuses for te description of AVLGRP such as Goods for Putaway and Goods Completely Available. Should I filter in only one or should I keep both? If I have to only leave certain avaiability groups within the system, which one?

Thank you.

How does Rough bin determination work?

$

Dear Experts,

We use a special reserve area, from where we also pick also.

To these storage types we won't do replenishment, because we do it from that these storage types.

How does Rough bin determination work? For me the table  /SCWM/DB_ITEMSPL contains a row for a quantity 40, even if it the storage bin in that row has stock only 20 pieces.

My assumption is, that its designed so, because it happens before the replenishment, it plans to pick 40, and if the order based replenishment at checking the bin in this row in that table does not find 40, only 20 pieces, then it does the replenishment. If that is the case, can I turn this function off for specified storage types?

The requirement is, that the rough bin determination only creates a new row for the specified storage type in the table  /SCWM/DB_ITEMSPL, if the stock is there. For our pick storage types it should not take the stock in consideration, so the rough bin determination should be able to write more quantities for other storage types.

If it's not possible, is there a BADI, which I could use for this functionality? Or do you have any idea how this problem could be solved?

Best Regards,

Tamas Becker

FDO waves

HI All

I have orders that come in the warehouse as future dated ,meaning order is placed today and delivery is for the next 2 days, and in that this delivery needs to be picked a day before the delivery date.when the system creates the waves for these type of orders it assigns the last wave template option.for instance if it picked up wave template 50,in this template it only allocates/assigns the wave to the last wave option in this template 50.this is the last wave for the day.I want the system to assign the next available wave option instead of just assigning it to the last one.I hope i am making sense and that htere is a hero out there.

in this pic the order is created today for delivery tommorow.and as seen below the template is 102 and option 10 which is the last option. This delivery was created at 13:26 so it should have picked up the wave template option 8 atleast.

wave.PNG

In the second pic below, you will see that it has assigned it to the last option or wave in this template.I have tried mantaining the time intervals to try and accormodate the FDO's but with no luck,it still assigns it to the last one.i need the system to check all templates avaialable and assign the order to the next wave run and not only the last one.

POSC problem with batch managed materials

Dear Experts, I am in EWM self learning process. After few weeks I have set-up quite good demo environment. Now my EWM (rel 7.01) is working quite good and I am able to perform complete Goods Reception flow both direct and POSC. Now I am trying to repeat the POSC process for batch managed material. All the master data for batched material are identical as non batched (e.g. process type indicator, storage type search indicator etc.). Also the batch master data and classification are properly moved (CIF) to EWM for ERP just after inbound delivery creation in ERP. The problem: Ones the ID document is created the proper POSC process is assigned (here first step type is IB01 - unloading). When I press UNLOAD button in /SCWM/PRDI the following message appear: Message no. /SCWM/REM_BIN_DET302: "Could not determine stock GUID for product " It happens only for batched material, for non batched it works fine. I have spend two days searching for the reason but still have no idea what is the reason and how to correct the error. Thanks a lot in advance for any suggestio

Hi Experts,

If in EWM inbound delivery I have created multiple HU's and warehouse task for each HU for putaway.

While confirming using RF-Putaway by HU option, one GR message is getting posted for 1 HU.

Can you please suggest, is there any way to control this. We would like to see the single GR message when putaway WT's are confirmed for all handling units.

Thanks in advance.
